Grand Rapids, Mich. – The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) announced its weekly athletic honors on Monday (Oct. 21) afternoon. After an impressive performance at The Nelson this past weekend, Morgan Jones has been named the WHAC Women's Bowler of the Week. This is the first time in Jones' career that he has been named the Bowler of the Week.
Jones had a great week at the lanes. The Saints hosted The Nelson where Jones competed. She led the team to a second place finish with a team score of 4430. To start the day in game one she had a remarkable performance 207 pins. She remained consistent throughout the next two games with scores of 167 and 165. This brought her total 539 on the day.
This is Jones' first Women's WHAC Bowler of the Week. She has received the Aquinas All Academic honor as well.

Jones will be leading the Saints to the East side of the state to take on competition at Rochester Christian hosted Great Lakes Open. This will take place on Saturday, November 2 starting at 7:00 AM.
