The women's bowling took a trip to Jax 60 in Jackson, Michigan yesterday (Nov. 6) to compete in the WHAC Jamboree #2. AQ took seventh place out of 10 teams at the event, scoring 5,867 points. Indiana Tech took first in the women's competition, scoring 7,096 points. Lawrence Tech and Madonna rounded out the top three.
Audrey Meader was the best bowler for the Saints, finishing in eighth place in the event. Meader scored 760 points, averaging 190 pins over four games with a high of 230 pins in her third game.
Nicole Pawloski finished in 17th place with 720 pins, averaging 180 pins over the four games. Her best game was her first game with 203 pins.
Morgan Jones placed 27th at the jamboree with 674 pins. Jones averaged 168.5 pins over four games with a high score of 186 in her third game.
Carley Blanchard finished 38th in the field of competition with 625 pins, averaging 165.25 over four games. Blanchard's best game was her first game, with 198 pins.
Sydney Wetzel bowled three games, scoring 547 pins. That result was good for 57th place on the leaderboard with an average of 183.33 pins per game. Her best game was the second game, with a score of 191.
Narelle Hickmon played one game and scored 170 pins.
The women will be back in action next weekend (Nov. 13-14) to compete in the Roto Grip Classic in Beavercreek, Ohio.
