Men's Track and Field Dominates in John Flaminio Classic

The men's track and field program continued their season at home with the John Flaminio Classic. During the meet they saw many athletes win events and saw one athlete better their provisional mark.

Collin Pollatz was the only Saint of the day to hit a standard when he competed in the weight throw. He won the event with a throw of 16.97m. This throw betters his mark as a provisional qualifier.

Cyrus Prudhomme and Lawrence Young made a good 1-2 punch as they placed first and second in the 60 M Dash with time of 7.06 and 7.18.

Isaiah Jackson dominated in the 60 Hurdle and won with a time of 8.51.

The Saints went 1-3 in the 600 when Caleb Hodgkinson, Adam Bailey, and Will Finch went 1:23, 1:25, and 1:26

On the field side of things, Jacob Dawson started the Saints off with a second place finish in the high jump with a height of 1.88. Isaiah Jackson then won his second event on the day when he finished with a jump of 6.02 in the long jump.

The Saints scored 156 points for the win with the next closest opponent scoring 121.

The men will be back in action January 28, when they compete at the John Clinger Classic at Grand Valley State University.
