The Aquinas women's bowling squad traveled to Indiana to compete in the Hoosier Classic this weekend (Feb. 19-20). The team placed 57th of 65 teams with a score of 7,231. Wichita State University also won the women's event with a score of 8,766.

Audrey Meader was the best bowler for the Saints this weekend, placing 150th in a field of 455 bowlers with a six-game score of 1,004. Her average came out to 167.33 pins per game as she scored a 173, 196, 194, 159, 146, and 136 in her respective games.

Morgan Jones bowled five games and scored 793 pins, averaging 158.6 pins per game. She scored 189, 140, 149, 175, and 140 in her games.

Narelle Hickmon also bowled five games for a total score of 778, good for an average of 155.6 pins per game. She bowled a 169, 174, 182, 111, and 142 in her five games.

Nicole Pawloski bowled four games, totaling a score of 703 and averaging 175.75 pins per game. She scored a 148, 188, 189, and 178 in her four games.

Michelle Thompson also bowled four games, scoring an accumulative score of 629 and averaging 157.25 pins per game. She scored a 193, 190, 149, and 97 in her games.

Carley Blanchard bowled four games herself and came out with a total score of 610, averaging 152.5 pins per game. She bowled a 181, 130, 142, and 157 in her four games.

Genevieve Soltis bowled two games for the Saints and scored a 169 and 157 in her two games. Those scores totaled 326 with a 163-score average.

The women's team will be competing in the WHAC Championships this upcoming Saturday (Feb. 26). Indiana Tech will be hosting the event and the bowlers will be competing at Thunderbowl in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The event is set to begin at 10:00 AM.
