The men's and women's track team suited up for their second day of the NAIA Indoor Track and Field championships. The Saints had four competitors advance to finals on Saturday and one athlete finish as national runner up.

Laikyn Kulman had the Saints biggest highlight of the day when she competed in the pole vault. She finished with a vault of 12-08 ¼ to earn her the national runner up award. She bested third place, by two inches.  Also in the pole vault,
Shaily Baynes was unable to clear her first vault height.

In the men's 1000
Clayton Jones finished tenth overall with a time of 2:29.36. This time lands him #3 all time in Aquinas history.

Maggie Whitney had the fastest time in the entire prelims on Saturday with a time of 2:15 to advance her to finals. Whitney will look to finish with All-American honors in the event as she also competes in the DMR

Caleb Hodgkinson also competed in the 800 finishing third in his heat and seventh overall to advance him to tomorrow's final.

Also competing in the DMR tomorrow is
Hannah Adler. But today, Adler took fourth in her heat and advanced to finals with a time 10:12. Joining Whitney and Adler tomorrow in the DMR is
Emily McManus and
Tarshana Kimbrough.

In the 60 hurdle prelims,
Tarshana Kimbrough got a new personal record with a time of 9.05 to finish 24
th.

Rounding out the day for AQ was
Jesunifemi Ojutalayo with a jump of 6.77m to finish 21st. Â
