Men's Track and Field Heads to Fort Wayne for The Monday Meet

The men's track and field teams were back in action this evening when they traveled down to Indiana Tech for The Monday Meet. The Saints sent jumpers, sprinters, and throwers to the meet, and after lightning delays, the Saints had a plethora of highlights.

Starting with the Hammer Throw, Collin Pollatz finished tenth in the event out of 37 men. His throw of 55.96 meters betters his previous rank in the event. Also competing in the discus, Pollatz placed 22nd with a throw of 42.32.

Then in 110 Hurdles, Isaiah Jackson qualified for finals and his time of 15.04 moves him up to fourth all time in Aquinas history. He placed sixth in the event.

Jesunifemi Ojutalayo competed in the long jump and finished third in the event with a jump of 6.84 meters.

Freshman Jacob Tenbusch competed well in the 400 when he ran 51.17 in the event.

In the 100 meters Brian Stump, was the first Saint across the line at 11.37. Yussuf Abdullahi and Abdulahi Abidyow were also in the event finishing with a time of 11.52 for both.

The Saints will be back in action Thursday, April 14, for the Calvin Spring Thing Invitational.
