The Aquinas men's outdoor track & field team was in action on Thursday (Apr. 14) at the Calvin Spring Thing Invitational in Grand Rapids. The men were able to perform well despite the windy conditions.

Beginning with the 1500, Aquinas was represented by only
Ben Hylen. He was able to place fourth with a time of 4:15 in the conditions.

Next, like the women, Aquinas was able to lock down the top spot in the 110 Hurdles.
Isaiah Jackson was the winner when he finished at 15.65 on the clock.

In the 400,
Jacob Tenbusch was the highest placed finisher for the Saints with time of 51.88. Right behind was
Josh Young with a time 53.21. Also in the event was Ben Stump,
Abdulahi Abdiyow, and
Lawrence Young.

Cryrus Prudhomme was the only Saint in the 100 Dash and set a new PR finishing with a 11.48 and fifth place. Â

Switching to the field events, Jesunfemi Ojusatlayo and
Isaiah Jackson occupied the two top spots in the event with jumps of 13.25 and 13.07.
Jerome Williams was also in the event finishing sixth with a jump of 11.82. Ojutalayo was also in the high jump later placing second with a jump of 1.95 meters.
Jacob Dawson was right behind him finishing third with a jump of 1.85 meters

Jesse Henderson was the only Saint to place in the pole vault when he vaulted 4.65 meters and second place.

In the throws
Collin Pollatz won the hammer throw with a mark of 55.19 meters.

AQ will next compete at the Al Owens Classic after the Easter holiday. The meet will be held by Grand Valley in Allendale, Michigan.
