For the final time this academic year, the Aquinas Track and Field program was in action for the third and final day of the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Nationals. At the conclusion of day three, Aquinas walked away with two more All-Americans.

Beginning with the first All-American of the day,
Casey Lenon received national honors in the high jump. After clearing a final height of 1.70 meters (5-7) Lenon took fourth in the event. This place earned the women five points to their overall total. Also in the event with Lenon was
Kaylee Diamond and
Crystal Goyette. Diamond finished on a height of 1.64 meters placing 11
th while Goyette finished fifteenth with the same height.

Then after advancing to the finals with a time of 1:02.77,
Tarshana Kimbrough was poised for greatness in the 400 Hurdles. In the final, Kimbrough ran a time of 1:00.87 to take third overall. This time not only got her an All-American, but also earned the Saints 6 points and moved her up to second all-time in Aquinas history.

In the pole vault,
Jesse Henderson represented the Saints. He was unable to clear opening height thus ending his season.

Finally,
Hanna Grant ran the half marathon early Friday morning. Due to the intense Alabama conditions, Grant was unable to finish the event.

The women finished ninth overall with a score of 22 points. This total comes from four different scorers. The women were able to place in the top ten in cross country, indoor track and field, and outdoor.

The men finished 69
th with two points from
Elmar Koster in the Javelin.

This concludes the track and field teams season. The Saints will take some much needed downtime before picking back up in the fall.
