Saints Women Finish Eighth at WHAC Championships

Fort Wayne, Ind. – The Aquinas women's bowling team competed in the WHAC Championships today (Feb. 25) to wrap up the 2022-23 conference campaign. The women played five sets of baker games for a total of 3,310 pins. That pin total placed Aquinas in eighth place overall.

The Saints bowled baker set scores of 581 (130, 159, 167, 125), 632 (176, 156, 141, 159), 678 (147, 179, 195, 157), 720 (167, 199, 170, 184), and 699 (140, 168, 201, 190) to reach that total of 3,310 pins.

Indiana Tech won the women's WHAC Championship with a total of 3,887 pins. The Warriors went on to beat both Concordia and Lourdes in best-of-five match play to take home the trophy.

Lourdes (3,664 total pins) finished runner-up to Indiana Tech after losing 3-2. Madonna (3,657 total pins) finished third overall and Concordia (3,528 total pins) finished fourth.
