Van Tassell, Iacona Earn All American Honors

Marion, Indiana - The men's track and field team concluded their season with a pair of All American efforts on the third day of the NAIA Outdoor National Championships.  The Saints would tie for 39th place overall with six total points.  Cumberlands won the meet with 64 points, while Marian finished second with 62 points.

Jake Van Tassell would use a strong surge over the last 50 meters of the race to finish fourth in the 400 meter hurdles. His time of 52.36 breaks his own school record and earns himself his first All American honor. Nathan Iacona would tally his second All American accolade as he finished eighth in the 400 meters with a time of 47.53.
