Grand Rapids, Michigan - Robert Dykhouse, who has been shown much support by Nicki and Russ Helsel, has signed his national letter of intent to continue his academic and athletic career at Aquinas College. Dykhouse, who recently graduated from Manton High School, became the seventh signee of the 2025-26 recruiting class for the Aquinas College men's cross country and track & field programs.
Dykhouse simply stated, "I asked the Lord if this is my new home, and here we are."
Robert, who enjoys playing basketball, listening to music, playing guitar, and experiencing culture, has posted personal bests that include 15:53 on the cross course and 9:48 (3200 meters) and 4:33 (1600 meters) on the track. Dykhouse, who has garnered All-State accolades in both cross country and track & field, will be a welcomed addition to the program and the campus community. Robert also has claimed multiple conference titles for the Rangers and has helped his squad to team titles in the Highland Conference.
Trevor Thiebaut, track & field coach at Manton High School added, "Robert has been a staple to the Manton track program for years and his impact on the team will be missed. He finishes his career as one of the most accomplished kids I have ever coached and I know he will do amazing things at Aquinas."
Aquinas head coach Mike Wojciakowski commented, "We are excited that Robert has decided to become a Saint. I always look forward to having student-athletes from Coach Harding and Coach Thiebaut's program join us at Aquinas. They are prepared for the next level and I believe Robert will continue that tradition of Rangers who had great success at Aquinas College."
