The AQ men's cross country team (RV) came in 15th place at the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge on a cold Saturday at Riverside Park in Grand Rapids.

Aquinas finished 15th out of 26 teams in the Maroon 8K race with a team score of 385. The team was one spot ahead of WHAC rival Madonna who was 16th with a team score of 449 and one spot behind Cornerstone who had a team score of 381 points. Taylor won the men's race with a team score of 71. The race is considered to be the largest NAIA race in the country this season.
The team finished ahead of Campbellsville (Ky.), Marian (Ind.) and Montana State Northern who are also receiving votes in the the latest rankings.Â

Three Saints runners finished in the Top-100 out of 311 total runners.
Gannon Foley was the top runner for the team with a 31st-place time of 25:54.
Nick MacGeorge claimed 63rd-place with a time of 26:25 while
Matt Fosdick was 65th with a time of 26:29.

Andrew Ireland had a time of 27:06 while
Ben Hylen finished in 27:08. Robert Morse crossed the line in 27:13 and Jacob Fair was not far behind him with a time of 27:14.
Grayson Harding finished in 27:19 while
Clayton Jones had a time of 27:31.
Nathan Maurer (27:57),
Connor McGee (27:59),
Matt MacGregor (28:07),
Will Libs (28:55) and
Brendan Shannahan (29:33) were the final Saints finishers.

The men's JV team ran in the white race and came in 10th out of 25 teams. Ken Wojcik was the top Saints runner with a time of 28:36.
