The AQ women's track and field team concluded its events at the two-day SVSU Jets Pizza Invitational in Saginaw, Michigan on Saturday (Jan. 25).
 
Payton Klein broke her own school record in the high jump with a mark of 1.67 meters (5-5 3/4). This is a "B" standard mark for the high jump as Klein claimed fourth-place. Crystal Goyette and Bridget Kohane finished tied for sixth-place with a mark of 1.59 meters.
 
Tannah Adgate hit the "B" standard in the Mile with a time of 5:10.44 to place fifth.
 
Goyette finished fifth in the triple jump with a mark of 10.62 meters. Shanna Han was ninth with a jump of 9.97 meters.
 
Tarshana Kimbrough came in seventh place in the 400 meters with a time of 1:00.10.
 
The 4x400 meter relay team of Casey Lenon, Nicole Diekema, Rose Russo and Kimbrough placed eighth with a time of 4:03.69.
 
Whitney Taylor finished ninth in the 800 meters with a time of 2:21.52.
 
AQ competes next at the Aquinas Quad Meet on Friday, January 31st. The meet will be held in the Alksnis Athletics Building and will begin at 5:00 PM.
