The Saints women's track and field team competed in its second consecutive home meet at the Grand Rapids Sports Hall of Fame Classic on Friday (Feb. 7). The meet took place in the Alksnis Athletic Building. Cornerstone and Davenport also competed at the meet.

AQ finished first as a team with 215 points while Cornerstone was second with 122 and Davenport had 119.

Victoria Faber and
Laikyn Kulman both hit "A" standard heights in the pole vault. Faber finished first with a mark of 3.82 meters (3.87 meters is her best mark). Kulman reached a national qualification mark for the first time this season and was second with a height of 3.52 meters.Â

Tannah Adgate hit a "B" standard in the mile crossing the line in 5:11.47. She was the runner-up in the race and broke the previous Cook Track Record.
Whitney Taylor placed third with a "B" standard finishing time of 5:14.77.
Hannah Hamilton was fifth with a time of 5:42.80.

Tyra Hunter was second in the 60 meter hurdles with a final round time of 8.96 seconds. Her best time of the season is an "A" standard time of 8.87 seconds that was achieved on January 31st. Her preliminary time was 9.31 seconds.

Payton Klein hit another top mark in the high jump with a leap of 1.65 meters to place first.
Bridget Kohane and
Casey Lenon were second and third with marks of 1.55 meters.

Rebecca Beltran finished second in the shot put with a mark of 12.60 meters. This improves her mark at #5 in AQ history in the event.

Crystal Goyette and
Shanna Han placed first and second in the triple jump with marks of 10.47 meters and 10.19 meters.

Maggie Whitney finished first in the 600 meters with a time of 1:41.00.
Caroline Jones was second crossing the line in 1:43.60.
Brianna Adams was fifth with a time of 1:53.49.

Eunice Eyamba and
Rose Russo crossed the line in first and second place with respective times of 7.95 seconds and 8.06 seconds in the 60 meter dash.

Eyamba also won the 200 meters with a finishing time of 26.42 seconds. Russo was fourth crossing the line in 27.25 seconds.
Mary Armour (extension) was fifth with a time of 27.94 seconds.

Adgate and
Hannah Adler were the top two runners in the 1000 meters with times of 3:11.33 and 3:20.47 respectively.

Megan Gough (19:21.25),
Hanna Grant (19:35.21) and
Vanessa Hubert (19:49.89, extension) were the top three runners in the 5000 meters.

Han placed first in the long jump with a mark of 5.26 meters.

Tarshana Kimbrough and
Nicole Diekema finished first and second in the 400 meters with respective times of 1:00.85 and 1:02.07.

The "A" 4x400 meter relay team of Kimbrough, Diekema,
Casey Lenon and
Taylor Ward crossed the line in 4:09.89 while the "B" team of Whitney, Jones,
Eva Chmielewski and
Amanda Maurer finished in third place with a time of 4:33.97.

Emily McManus crossed the line in 10:49.69 in the 3000 meters to finish second.

Taylor came in third place in the 800 meters crossing the line in 2:22.47. Chmielewski was fifth with a time of 2:34.48.

The Saints next compete at dual meets on Friday (Feb. 14). First, AQ is at Grand Valley State at 10:00 AM for the GVSU Big Meet in Allendale. Then, the Saints host the WHAC vs. MIAA Challenge at 5:00 PM in the Alksnis Athletic Building.
