Allendale, MI - The men's and women's track and field teams concluded their action-packed weekend at Day 2 of the GVSU Big Meet today. The Saints had two relays qualify at today's competitive event along with four individuals in action.

The women's DMR was the first relay to qualify today. The team of
Maggie Whitney,
Ronnie McMillan,
Lauren Wooer, and
Hannah Adler ran a time of 12:04 to automatically qualify in the event. The quartet now ranks 4th in the nation as the NAIA National Meet draws closer.

The men's DMR was also able to qualify today. The team of
Caleb Hodgkinson,
Jake Van Tassell,
Will Finch, and
Connor Clemens hit a time of 10:07 to automatically qualify and now rank sixth in the nation.

Then,
Cyrus Prudhomme kicked off the individual events today in the 400-meter Dash. He placed sixth in the event, and second in his heat with a time of 49.82. He sits right outside of the AQ all-time top five.

Shaily Baynes competed once again in the pole vault and placed tenth today. She did so with a mark of 3.20 meters.

Finally, the 800 Meter Run saw two athletes competing.
Molly Harding represented the women with a time of 2:28. Then
Zander Masten ran a time of 2:05 on the men's side.

AQ will ready up for next weekend when they compete at the WHAC Championships. Competition begins on Friday, February 17.Â
