Two Saints Advance to Final Day of NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Nationals

Marion, Indiana - AQ returned to the Wildcat Track and Field Complex for the second of three days of national competition. AQ had two athletes advance to tomorrow's finals based off of todays results.
 
The first athlete to advance today was former national champion Maggie Whitney. In her prime event of the 800 Meter Run, she raced in the first heat of the event. She earned the automatic qualification for finals by taking second place. Whitney's 2:12 ranks eighth in tomorrow's final.
 
Then Hannah Adler returned after yesterday's 10K for the prelims of the 5K. Adler took sixth in her heat running 17:58 and qualified for tomorrows final. She enters the final ranked 14th.
 
In the men's 800 Caleb Hodgkinson ended his season running 1:57.
 
Nate White competed at a national event for the first time in his career in the 100 dash. White finished 31st with a time of 10.68.
 
Finally, Theresa Judd was up in the 100 Hurdles. She finished sixth in her heat with a time of 14.77 and ending her season.
 
AQ returns to action tomorrow for the final day of the national competition. The first event to feature Aquinas student athletes happens at 1:20 PM with the Men's Steeplechase.
