Muskegon, Michigan - The women's cross country team continued their season with a stop in Muskegon at the annual MCC Jayhawk Invitational. The women competed on the  University Park Golf Course which is located on the campus of Muskegon Community College. The Saints tallied 308 points to place 11th overall.

The Saints were led by the trio of Noelle House, Annabel Bishop, and Katrina Amrhein. House was first to cross the line in 21:00 to place 80th overall to pace the Saints attack. Bishop placed two spots back in 82nd with a time of 21:06, while Amrhein, a Muskegon native, ran a 21:14 to place 89th. All three women recorded personal bests on an absolute beautiful day for racing.

Head Coach Mike Wojciakowski competed, "I thought our women competed very well today. I always like this meet because it always gives an opportunity for different team members to take on a scoring role for the team. It worked out very well today and I am excited to see the improvements this group has made."

Lauren VanderWulp and Zee Simpson secured the fourth and fifth scoring spots for the Saints. VanderWulp placed 142nd (25:34), while Simpson completed the 5000 meter course in 26:06 to place 146th.
