Brookings, South Dakota - The track & field teams finished up day three at the NAIA National Championships with two more All American performances. The duo of
Kaylee Diamond and
Ronnie McMillan were on full display as the indoor season concluded today in Brookings.
Diamond continued to shine bright as she claimed her second All American honor of the championships. Kaylee cleared 5-7 1/4 in the high jump to place in a sixth place tie. Her jump now ranks her #2 on the Saints All-Time List. The high jump honor pairs with the long jump accolade she collected yesterday. After breaking the school record in the preliminary round,
Ronnie McMillan concluded a fantastic indoor season with a 7th place finish in the 600 meters. She crossed the line in 1:33.70 in an absolutely loaded field that saw the winner go 1:28.80. Kaylee and Ronnie tallied 6.5 points at the championships to propel the Saints to an overall 35th place team finish.
Aquinas will now take a break from competition and start prepping for the outdoor season which begins in four weeks.
