Lauren Wooer (156th place). The two crossed the line in 23:55 and 24:29 to round out the scoring for the Saints.
Head Coach
Mike Wojciakowski commented, "It was a solid day for the Saints. We achieved seven personal bests and competed well against some of the nations best. I thought we handled the big meet atmosphere well and continue to show marked improvements over last season. We left a few points on the table that would have helped us finish a little higher, but all-in-all it was big step forward for the women."
Also contributing to Aquinas' top seven were
Mallory Bowker who finished in 169th in a time of 24:37 and
Claire Walton (222nd place) who crossed the line 25:40.
A total of 306 individuals competed from 28 different colleges and universities.
The Saints will return to action on October 5th as they travel to Cedar Rapids, Iowa to compete in the Seminole Valley Stampede. The meet will be contested at Seminole Valley Park with the women starting at 11:15am.
