Grand Rapids, Michigan - In the fifth edition of the USTFCCCA NAIA Women's Indoor Track & Field Ratings, the Aquinas College women jumped two spots to #6 in the latest rating. After a very successful WHAC Championships, the Saints accumulated 107.92 points in the computer generated rating.
Marian currently holds the top spot with 201.17 points, while fellow WHAC competitor Indiana Tech checks in at #13 with 90.53 points. Other WHAC institutions ranked in the top 30 include: Cornerstone (25th), Siena Heights (26th), and Madonna (28th).
The Saints feature many standout athletes who are highly ranked on the national performance list.
Lindsey Strutz currently is ranked third in the pentathlon with 3,553 points, while
Maelie Hope cracks the top fourteen in two different events. Hope is ranked second in the weight throw (61-4) and 14th in the shot put (44-6 1/4). The women's 4x800 meter relay currently sits in second (9:15.00), while the distance medley relay relay currently resides in the number five spot (12:02.82).

Madison Rempalski have teamed up to make the Aquinas' middle distance relays some of the best in the country.
Alexis Furgason is seeded eighth on the national performance list in the high jump (5-6 1/2), while Rempalski also adds to the Saints point total in the Mile (7th - 5:00.08) and 5,000 meters (7th - 17:37.10).
The Saints will conclude their season with NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championships contested in Gainesville, Florida next week.
