Women's Track & Field Adds Aliva Hall

Grand Rapids, Michigan - Alivia Hall, the daughter of Trisha and Evan Hall, has signed her national letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic career at Aquinas College. Hall, who currently attends Ravenna High School, became the second signee of the 2025-26 recruiting class for the Aquinas College women's cross country and track & field programs.

Hall stated, "I chose Aquinas because of the student community and the education. Everyone is treated like a family and that's what I love. Everyone supports each other for anything that everyone is passionate about!"

Aliva, who enjoys reading, hanging out with friends and family, has posted a personal best of 27-8.5 in the shot put. She also has competed in cross country, soccer, sideline cheer, and competitive cheer.

Monte Gerwig, head cross country and track & field coach at Ravenna High School added, "I am so happy to see Alivia have the confidence to take this step to the "next level".  After the frustration she fought through her first two years after moving from middle school to high school. I saw some growth last year during her junior year and have already seen an improvement in her confidence leading into her senior year. I can't wait to see what she does this season!"

Aliva has two siblings named Dominick and Ashtyn and she plans on majoring in Special Education at Aquinas College.

Aquinas assistant coach Ralph Neal commented, "We are excited to add Aliva to our throws squad. She brings a strong work ethic and positive attitude which will make her a great addition to the program. I look forward to being able to work with Alivia  and watch her grow as both a student and an athlete these next four years."
