Asheville, North Carolina - The men's & women's track and field team continued competition today at the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The three day meet is being contested on the campus of UNC Asheville.

The Saints competed in a pair of events and were led by Lindsey Strutz, who completed her heptathlon and finished fourth overall. She maintained her position on the leader board on day two as she competed in the long jump (5.12m), javelin (39.96m), and 800 meters (2:29.97).  She tallied 4,913 points to break her school record from earlier this season.

Brian Langlois used a personal best performance to cruise through the preliminary round of the steeplechase. Brian's time of 9:16.73 got him the "Big Q" and placed him third overall in the prelims.

The final day of competition will feature Maelie Hope in discus, Alexis Furgason in high jump, and Lindsey Strutz in javelin.  Madison Rempalski will also be competing in the 1500 meters and 5000 meters, while Brian Langlois will toeing the line in the 3,000 meter steeplechase final.
