Results

The AQ men's and women's track and field teams kicked off the 2020 indoor season on Friday at the GVSU Bob Eubanks Open at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan.
 
Both the men's and women's team came in first place at the meet in the team standings. The women had 115 team points while the men's team finished with 106 team points.
 
Payton Klein and Crystal Goyette set a new school record in the high jump. Both women cleared 1.63 meters (5-4 1/4). They were marginally second and third but were in essence tied for first place. Bridget Kohane was fourth with a mark of 1.53 meters.
 
Victoria Faber hit the "A" standard in the pole vault with a mark of 3.65 meters (11-11 3/4) to finish #1 while Laikyn Kulman achieved a "B" standard with a vault of 3.50 meters (11-5 3/4) and was the runner-up at the event. Kennedy Pollington had a vault of 2.75 meters.
 
Tyra Hunter hit the "B" standard mark in the 60 meter hurdles finishing in 9.14 seconds. She came in first place at the meet.
 
Eunice Eyamba finished first in the 60 meter dash with a time of 7.90 seconds while Rose Russo was sixth crossing the line in 8.10 seconds.
 
Shanna Han was first in the triple jump with a mark of 10.16 meters.
 
Whitney Taylor was the runner-up in the 600 meters with a time of 1:43.78 while Caroline Jones was third with a finishing time of 1:44.14. Maggie Whitney placed fifth with a time of 1:46.00.
 
The 4x400 meter relay team of Tarshana Kimbrough, Nicole Diekema, Casey Lenon and Taylor Ward came in third-place with a time of 4:07.80.
 
Tannah Adgate came in fourth-place in the 800 meters crossing the line in 2:28.20.
 
Gabby Brandonisio placed fifth in the 3000 meters crossing the line in 10:47.86.
 
Kimbrough finished fifth in the 200 meter dash with a time of 26.34. She was also sixth in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 9.47 seconds.
 
Rebecca Beltran came in fifth-place in the shot put with a mark of 11.79 meters.
 
On the men's side, Nate McKeown hit the first "A" standard of the season with a victory in the men's high jump at a mark of 2.06 meters (6-9). Jacob Dawson was eighth with a mark of 1.82 meters.
 
Matt MacGregor finished first in the 600 meters with a time of 1:22.15. This time is #4 in AQ history. Connor McGee had a time of 1:25.02 and finished fourth while Robert Morse was sixth with a time of 1:25.63.
 
Aaron Whaley hit the "B" standard qualifier in the shot put with a fourth-place toss of 15.69 meters (51-5 3/4). He is #4 on the All-Time AQ list in the event. He also finished eighth in the weight throw with a mark of 15.32 meters.
 
Grayson Harding came in second place in the 800 meters with a time of 1:55.35 while Ben Hylen and Nick MacGeorge finished with times of 2:01.28 (Fifth) and 2:02.51 (Seventh) respectively.
 
Gannon Foley crossed the line in 4:26.05 to finish as the runner-up in the mile. Jacob Fair was sixth with a time of 4:29.20.
 
Isaiah Jackson finished as the runner-up in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.58 seconds. He was also seventh in the long jump with a mark of 6.32 meters.
 
The 4x400 meter relay "A" team of Josh Young, Adam Bailey, Tristan Milarch and Will Haran finished in third place with a time of 3:26.26 while the "C" team of Grayson Harding, Connor McGee, Robert Morse and Matt MacGregor had a sixth-place time of 3:28.26.
 
Jeremy Crist and Ezra Faust came in third-place in the pole vault with a mark of 3.90 meters while Joshua Kunst and Reece Karns were fifth with the same rounded-up mark. 
 
Jerome Williams came in fourth place in the triple jump with a mark of 12.44 meters.
 
Evan Pugh was fifth in the weight throw with a mark of 15.57 meters.
 
The Saints are back in action next Friday January 17th at 3:00 PM at the GVSU Bill Clinger Classic. It is the second consecutive meet for the team at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan.
