Grand Rapids, Michigan - Spencer Babcock, the son of  Kim and Dave Babcock, has signed his national letter of intent to continue his academic and athletic career at Aquinas College. Babcock, who currently attends Paw Paw High School, became the third signee of the 2025-26 recruiting class for the Aquinas College men's cross country and track & field programs.

Babcock simply stated, "It felt like home."

Spencer, who enjoys running, playing lacrosse, going to church, and golfing, has posted personal bests that include 17:42 on the cross course and 2:06.35 (800 meters) on the track.  Babcock, who has garnered All-Conference and All Region honors in a variety of events, will be a welcomed addition to the program and the campus community.

Spencer has one sibling named Rachel and he plans on majoring in Athletic Training at Aquinas College.

Aquinas head coach Mike Wojciakowski commented, "We are excited that Spencer has decided to become a Saint. I believe he has the potential to become a very solid middle-distance runner at the next level."
