We recently started a new series called "Getting AQuainted With…" as a way for our fans to get to know our Aquinas head coaches on a few professional topics and through some more light-hearted questions.

Alma Mater / Year / Major: Western Michigan University / Physical Education

What is your favorite thing about being a head coach at Aquinas? Watching our athletes grow as they learn more about our sport and maturing from freshman to their senior year

What is your top memory from your time at AQ? 2017 when our women's team won the WHAC. So much teamwork from these girls, it was wonderful to watch.

Movie? Major League

TV Show? I really watch a lot of sports / ESPN

Meal? Hibachi Grill

Restaurant? Bimbo's Pizza

Sports team (non AQ)? University of Michigan

What have you been watching during quarantine? Baseball games from the past and CNN

What is something about you that would surprise most people? That I wanted to be a dancer on Broadway

What is your hidden talent? Dancing

If you could go on vacation anywhere and price was not a factor, where would you go? Las Vegas, love the lights and all the things you can do

What would you be if you weren't a coach? Work in Customer Service

What is/would be your go-to Karaoke song? Taking Care of Business by BTO

What was your first job? I was 16 and worked at a store called Yankees. Much like a K-Mart

Who is the most famous person you've met? Gregg Popovich, head coach of the San Antonio Spurs

If resources and time weren't factors, what would you like to cross off your bucket list? Front row seats to watch NBA games in every arena
